The map is a huge open space, but the more you advance in time, the more obstacles will appear, making escaping harder.
The suggested thing to do in this free online game is to perform sharp turns in order to make police vehicles (such as Vans, Cars, Trucks, etc.) to crash into each other. Your car will withstand a few crashes with the police, but eventually it may explode. There will be collectibles, that will repair the car, or "money" which will add additional time to your score.Just be aware that even the slightest crash into a rock or similar objects will result in a game failure.
