Clash of skulls is a great mix of a few genres. It's a card game, that's actually a PvP, combining both strategy and fighting. And all of that wrapped up in an completely in-browser online experience. What is there not to love?

In the beginning of the game, you get 5 cards, which contain different units. It's a 1v1 game which will find your opponent automatically. No need to worry about that.In order to spawn a unit to fight, you'd need to wait for the game to load you enough points to do so. The point loading is always automatic and has the same speed for both you and your opponent. The points needed for a unit to spawn can be seen on the upper-left corner of each card you have.
Once you've played a card it will spawn the respective unit and a new card will load into your deck. Probably that's where some of the beauty comes from - there is a bit of luck involved.The units you may get are the following:
Archer - Range unit with relatively low damage. Fires fast, has low health. Ideal for backing up melee units. 4 points required to spawn.
Bomber - Range unit with medium splash damage. Fast firing, low health. Great for bombing enemy units staying close to each other. 3 points required to use.
Witch - Range unit with low health, low damage, medium firing rate. Requires just 2 points to spawn and is the weakest unit in the game.
Hodrider - Melee unit with low health, but very fast and deals a lot of damage. Requires 5 points to spawn and is relatively rare to have. Can go fast, so it's a good idea to use it to protect slower, but stronger units.
Warrior - Melee unit with medium health, deals medium damage and walks very slow. Requires 6 points to spawn and can be of great use.
Ram - Melee unit that has only one purpose in the game - to Ram the enemy base. This unit won't fight any other units, it'll go straight for the base. Good for distraction as it's strong and hard to kill. 7 points to use.
Dragon - Low range unit with a lot of health and a good deal of damage. Fires and moves slow. It's the second to best unit in the game with 8 points required to spawn.
Yeti - The strongest unit. A melee monster, making a great deal of damage and with high health. When upgraded at level 3 has the maximum possible health stats. Slow hit rate and walking. Requires a whole 12 points to spawn.
Once you've spawned a unit it will fight with the enemies ones. Each player base also has an archer on top of it, helping when there's an invasion. I have to say for an online multiplayer game, Clash of Skulls is a lot of fun. Similar to some IO games, you can upgrade your units. There are 3 levels of upgrades and you can get to them very quickly - probably an hour of play would be enough. One can easily see if an enemy's unit is upgraded - all you have to do is count the skulls on top of the particular enemy unit. None means no upgrades and 3 means upgrade level 3There are quite a few strategies possible and you'll see that from your enemies the more you play. Try it and see how it goes :)
The good: A great online multiplayer! Finds opponents quickly, gameplay is decent, an interesting concept as a whole.
The bad: Sometimes player matching isn't the best - you can rarely win against a player that has upgraded everything, while you haven't.
